King's Place is a new and exciting arts location as well as a major office building. It boasts two art galleries, concert halls, a restaurant and conference facilities, in a canalside setting just north of King's Cross station.
King's Place is home to two orchestras: The London Sinfonietta, and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. The two state-of-the-art concert halls see a busy programme of performances and the galleries show modern scupture and changing art exhibitions. The offices of the Guardian are here and there are exhibitions on a journalistic theme as well, in the Guardian Gallery. The restaurant has a fine position on the corner of Battlebridge Basin and the Regent's Canal. There is a canalside terrace, open to visitors.
