London’s Late Extravaganza
Big on creativity, low on convention, the Emerge Festival will see a creative kaleidoscope of events in 11 London Boroughs on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th September 2019.
With one ticket, you’ll have access to all the night’s venues and some of the best breakthrough artists in town. There will be a host of diverse events at cultural venues, from Victorian gory surgery demonstrations to theatrical immersion in a house of scandal, and quite a few musical events from hip-hot to a tea dance. They are all held in cultural venues of different types and there are around 50 of them so you’re going to be spoiled for choice.
Here in King’s Cross, the London Canal Museum will be hosting a unique sonic landscape in which the sound of the ice import trade and the sounds of the canals that once delivered ice, will be brought to your ears by sound artist Tom White in a specially lit museum to create an immersive experience, to be enjoyed over a drink from a cash bar.
What’s in store?
A huge variety of acts are on parade this weekend, from dancing with design at the Design Museum to an incredible skyline photography opportunity that will take your breath way (literally). Emerge will be showcasing London’s electrifying emerging talent.
