Queer Britain is the UK national museum of LBGTQ+ culture, located just north of the canal off Goods Way. The exhibitions are primarily of photographs and works of art that explore and celebrate the development of the community through stories stories and ideas. It is an essential place for all regardless of sexuality or gender identity, to find out about the culture they have been born into, have chosen or seek to understand. Valuable stories and artefacts are being lost that may never be recovered. The museum aims to give these a dedicated space to be preserved, explored and celebrated. The museum also has a souvenir shop.
